Help a Special Kitty
Unable to adopt or foster at this time, but still want to help a kitty in need? There are many ways to help us help the most vulnerable cats & kittens that come our way.

Become a GodPurrent
F&F tries to help every needy cat, even though many of them are considered “non-adoptable” because of age, medical condition or temperament. We attempt to find permanent foster homes for these orphans and take care of them, providing food, veterinary care, litter, etc. for the rest of their lives. Needless to say, our expenses far exceed our income.
FELINES & FRIENDS Godpurrent Program provides funding for the care of these cats. You can become a Godpurrent to the cat of your choice for as little as $25.00 a month. Your money goes directly to the care of that cat. Your money is not used for administrative costs, postage or salaries. In return for your generosity, the FELINES & FRIENDS Foster Family will send you anecdotes, information and updates on the condition of your little friend.
To meet some of the cats in this program, please look for their profiles under "Available Pets". Cats with [Permanent Foster] after their name are now in a foster home permanently, thanks to this program. Other cats are still awaiting sponsorship to join this program. Your sponsorship is a tax deductible charitable contribution. The Godpurrent Program is perfect for those who wish to help, but cannot personally take in a cat.

Support the Lucky Fund
In honor of the dog that was found with a crushed pelvis in 2009 and who required several surgeries performed by Dr. Bob Gruda, we have started The Lucky Fund so that we can have monies set aside for the next dog or cat who needs life-saving surgery. Since 2010, cats such as Braveheart, Pumpkin, Little B, and Sam have benefited from this fund and were given a second chance.
If you would like to help, please send a check to our mailing address or donate online and note that the donation is for The Lucky Fund.

Fund a FIP Kitty
JIB, and his siblings were part of a 35 cat/kitten transfer from a shelter in Southern NM. They were at risk of euthanasia. Jib was very sick as a kitten, requiring round the clock syringe feeding, ringworm treatment, and hospitalization twice for pneumonia. Then at a little over two months old, he developed neurological issues; he couldn’t walk and had a high fever. After many tests, Jib was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). FIP is a virus which, until recently, was always a death sentence. Felines & Friends quickly rallied behind Jib and connected with an online advocacy group of dedicated volunteers working to bring an experimental anti-viral treatment to the US which is already showing great promise in other countries. However, this treatment is expensive, with an average cost per cat of close to $4,000. For Jib and others like him, this chance to be saved is truly priceless. From 2022-2023, F&F successfully treated 15 kittens with FIP, all of whom are under observation or cured. We are determined to save cats like Jib, but we can’t do it without your financial support.
