Need Help?
F&F Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR) Assistance
If you’ve found a feral, stray, lost, starving, or injured cat in need of rescue, F&F may be able to provide assistance with trapping and arranging for spay/neuter. We are a small organization and our TNR bandwidth is limited, but contact us and we will do our best to help.
F&F Foster-In-Place
If you have found a cat who needs re-homing and are willing to keep the cat until it can be adopted, contact us to learn more about our “Foster-In-Place” program. Our shelter capacity is very limited, but if you can foster the cat you have rescued, we may be able to assist with listing the cat for adoption, vetting applicants, and placing the cat in a good home.

Re-homing a cat to F&F
If you need to surrender a cat to Felines & Friends, please leave a message at (505) 316-2281 and our team will call with further instructions. To prepare, please download our Surrender Form, then complete and send to intakeFFnm@gmail.com. It is helpful to include recent vaccination and medical records and one “headshot” photo with your Surrender Form. A team member will review your Surrender, determine whether space is available, and arrange a time and place for intake. In most cases, you will be contacted within 24-48 hours.
Lost a cat
According to the ASPCA, nearly 15% of cats and dogs go missing every year. While many are returned to their owners, far too many end up as homeless strays or shelter rescues.
The number one thing you can do to avoid this heartache is to microchip your cat and keep the chip’s contact information up-to-date. To learn more, visit 24PetWatch. Even for indoor cats, an identity tag with a phone number can speed return should he/she sneak outside.
Once your cat becomes lost, here are few tips on how to help find him or her.
File a lost report with your local Shelter.
